John Thurman is passionate about people, community, and design and believes architecture is the ideal avenue to marry the three. After receiving his degree in Architecture from the University of Tennessee and gaining valuable experience in Greenville, South Carolina and New York City, John returned to his hometown to contribute to the exciting growth and positive changes happening in Knoxville.
John is a Principal in the firm, serves as the Director of Business Development, and is always looking for ways to improve the profession. With his engaging and extroverted nature, John finds fulfillment in transforming a client's needs and desires into reality. As a project manager, he enjoys shepherding a project from concept to completion by leading, coordinating, and collaborating with all team members.
